Do not park on the grassy area near the water

Posted by Webmaster on August 27, 2020 at 5:55 PM Comments comments (135)

NOTICE !!!

Some people have been parking on the grassy area near the water thst used to have the picnic table.  This has never been designated or used for parking vehicles and trailers in the past and is NOT autorized for parking now.  This grassy area can be damp and soft.

Damage to the boat ramp area will have to be repaired, which will increase the cost of next years boat ramp membership and keys.

Anyone found parking on the grass near the water at the ramp area, will be towed at owners exspense.  They will have their ramp sticker & key confiscated with no refund of fee & will be responsible for restoration of the grass area.

Any vehicle or trailer without active sticker will be towed also to make room for members as idenitfied by the stickers on their trailers.  Remember, the agreement you signed stated that you must put your member sticker on the tongue of the boat trailer.

As the boat ramp is being used more, the boat ramp parking area has gotten crowded. If you close to the boat ramp, consider parking your vehicle and trailer at your home to help out.

Be considerate and respectful.

Boating in Rock Creek - SLOW DOWN

Posted by Webmaster on May 31, 2020 at 9:35 AM Comments comments (27)

All Boat Ramp Key holders are reminded that as you boat through Wall Cove and Rock Creek, you must keep your boat below 6 mph AND you keep your wake to a minimum.

There are many small boat, Kayaks and Dingys operating in Wall Cove.   Many of these small craft can be hidden from view until the last minute.  By the time you see them it is TOO LATE to slow down and reduce your wake.

Boat owners are ALWAYS fully responsible for all damage, injury and death caused by their wake.

This is not county ordinance or state law.  It is FEDERAL LAW. Please avoid hurting your neighbors by slowing down.

Getting to or from the boat ramp a minute or two earlier will not ruin your day.  Injuring another boater will ruin your day, month and year.  And you can be denied a Boat Ramp Key the next year.

We need Board Members

Posted by Webmaster on November 17, 2019 at 9:20 AM Comments comments (31)

Please consider volunteering for one of the jobs on the board and with the association.

It has been the same small number of volunteers doing all the work for many years.

If we don't get more help, we could be in a position to have to close the boat ramp if there are not enough board members to properly run the association.

It is your association and boat ramp.  The amount of time and work needed is not extensive

Please consider volunteering for one of the jobs on the board and with the association.  It has been the same small number of volunteers doing all the work for many years.

It is your association and boat ramp.  Many hands make for light work.

If we don't get more help, we could be in a position to have to close the boat ramp if there are not enough board members to properly run the association.
